In his 25 year career, violinist Blayne Barnes has performed, recorded, and toured with some of the most highly regarded orchestras in the US, including the Minnesota Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, and Oregon Symphony. In addition, he has performed chamber music with members of each of these ensembles. Blayne is a founder and leader of Seattle’s conductorless chamber orchestra, the North Corner Chamber Orchestra, which has in a relatively short time become one of the leading ensembles in Washington. He is also a sought-after violin teacher in the Seattle area, drawing upon his years of training in both Rolland and Suzuki string pedagogy.
