Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes! Emerald City Music is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and a registered member of the Washington State Charities program. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For further information, please contact your tax advisor.

Can I donate offline?

Of course! You can send a check to our mailing address (P.O. Box 31917, Seattle, WA 98103). You can also donate from your IRA, stock account, or in-kind donations by writing to: admin@emeraldcitymusic.org OR calling us at (206) 250-5510

How can I get recognized for my gift?

We recognize each and every gift with our heartfelt thanks and a letter for tax records. Donations of $100 or less are recognized on our website. Donations of $100 and more are recognized on our season brochure. Donations of $2,500 and more are recognized as an artist sponsor. Donations of $5,000 and more are recognized as a concert sponsor. Donation of $10,000 and more are recognized as a season sponsor.

Where does my support go?

Every donation supports making more music! Our biggest expenses as an organization are artists, which means that your funds significantly support creating more art. Approximately 15% of our annual budget affords the staff that makes the magic happen year-round.

When do you send tax receipts?

When you give online, a confirmation email is automatically sent to your inbox. Keep this for your records! We also send hardcopy letters within four weeks of your gift, and in January to summarize your total year of giving!

How can I claim donor benefits?

For tangible benefits like exclusive merch, please pickup your benefits at the next concert you attend! If this is not possible, we can arrange shipping by emailing the address beto arrange a date; we can’t wait to chat with you! For newsletter and invitation to special parties, please be sure to include your email address with your donation, so we can contact you!
